About the Event
Join us for a delightful dinner with uplifting Chassidic music as we celebrate Yud Tes Kislev. Guest speaker Rabbi Yossi Bendet will share profound insights and engaging stories on the significance of Chabad, its historical roots, and its ability to inspire joy and spirituality. This event offers a chance to connect, learn, and experience through music and discussion. We look forward to welcoming you to this memorable evening.
Yud-Tes Kislev is the anniversary of the passing of R. Dovber, the Maggid of Mezritch, in 1772, and anniversary of the release from imprisonment of his disciple, Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi, in 1798 and is celebrated as a Chassidic holiday among Chabad Chassidim. This day marks the "birth" of Chassidism: the day it was allowed to emerge from the womb of mysticism into the light of day, to grow and develop as an integral part of Torah and Jewish life.
